'Til 6 a.m. - "times like this" come twice a year, when uni exams start. Also, late at night is miraculously productive, so I'm usually left with a whole hour or so to sleep :3
I've actually found that I do better if I sleep for two hours. I don't know why, but that can get me through a whole second day, although I'll crash and sleep ten or more hours at the end, and I won't be much fun to be around that day.

If I remember correctly, sleep goes in two-hour cycles, that's why that's the bare minimum if you don't want to wake up looking like a zombie. I usually go for three hours or no sleep at all, but once I went four days without sleep and stimulants.
Ahh... the last ditch rush... Good memories... oh, who am I kidding.
As an aside, did you know the human body only need one hour of actual sleep a day to function in near peak condition? This is why the whole 'power nap' thing actually appears to work. I've done it several day in a row (4), I crashed and burned for a solid 24 afterwards...
edit: Hadn't seen ThunderBird's comment when I posted this, so mine wasn't a challenge.
Blow through the point of no more tiredness, and you reach that stage where all higher rational and creative thought is dead. No more distractions, just pure, mechanical motion. I do some of my most efficient work in the frothing-mouthed state of sheer delirium the night before the deadline.
All it costs you is a 20-hour crash coma after you report it in.

'Til it's done.
Job's call. Once I did like straight from 9 AM day 1 till 12 PM day 3. Went to hospital for liver diseases. Will never do that again, ever.. At most, until day 2 and rest.
Kogasa-san will do anything for China dress Sanae-san, won't she? Hopefully she wont' come up with a convenient excuse like last time (last time was when she lost too much weight, and the dress didn't fit her correctly, right?). Don't go too fast, Kogasa-san; can't enjoy a China dress if you're dead!
For the poll, 'Til it's done. I stayed up for days while I was at uni. Even now, if I have a lot of work to do at my job, I'll keep at it until I'm done, even if I end up working twelve straight hours or more.

Since going to sleep at 4-6 am and having only 2-4 hours of sleep is a regular thing for me (no coffee, nothing) I have no problem burning the midnight fuel.
It's important to get one or two small naps for near peak productivity though - less than 15 minutes is best because it's before sleep inertia occurs.
Admirable and Encouraging dedication to commitment, work and familiy.
