Just because you didn't get to fire many of your 18in shells at us doesn't mean you should drop them on our feet, lady. EDIT: They aren't missiles, but it seems the closest tag we have is tank_shell, which isn't quite right either. This is followed by post #1496546.
You're right about that. It's not quite right to call it tank_shell, though technically they are the same. The more neutral term would be shell_(projectile) if we're going to reference how Wikipedia calls it. Sadly, we don't have a tag for that at the moment. We could change the tag to match, though, since this kind of shell is used in cannons and artillery (which, to be honest, the latter is what is generally mounted on warships.)
Fun fact: the explosion that finished Yamato off was caused by her shells getting loose due to her capsizing and hitting the side of her magazines, causing the fuses to detonate.
