FYI, I'm going to be on vacation next week. But I should be able to get around to translating next week's comic on Monday night. Or someone else can translate it. Either way.
Ehe~, golden loli Shizuki is the best Shizuki, after all. ...dafuq, Catherine... EDIT: Meanwhile, there's a rough comic with shrimp up on his blog. I sense something somewhat strange has been happening to Raku lately...
Next thing we know Tama will have to answer to Catherine's bird-parent for this shift in the daughter's behavior, though the dog-parent might actually approve.
So, what scent distinguishes watching what anime to dogs, then?
I'm glad you asked! But I'm afraid it's not just one scent here. You see, watching shows from the tokusatsu genre creates a scent akin to inhaling firey hot capsaicin. The strength of the scent depends on the hotbloodedness of the show in question. On the other hand, watching slice of life anime creates a scent reminiscent of a warm mug of hot cocoa, which smells sweeter the more cutesy the anime in question is. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan and Diebuster generate a unique scent, one which cannot be described within the limited capacity of human language. Evangelion, on the other hand, creates a unique scent associated with complete and utter despair and oblivion. Apparently, it's the same smell as Redbull, or possibly Tang. Dramas have two scent variants. Soap operas have a more moldering scent, kind of like that of old people. On the other hand, more standard dramas create a scent akin to that of copper or iron. Anime in any form creates a strange, abstract smell, but the closest smell it can be said to resemble is rumored to be the smell of Mountain Dew and Doritos. Action creates a tangy kick, like that of hot or buffalo sauce. Romance, of course, evokes the smell of sugar. Mysteries naturally evoke the smell of damp rain and tobacco. Horror evokes a rather...unique smell, best associated with gas station restrooms.
In this case, we can gather that Shizuki's scent was that of a spicy hotsauce, since presumably only Action and Tokusatsu scents would come into play, given her tastes.

The comic's about monster hunter. I think he's trying to get all these materials, and he has to fight this really powerful monster? I don't know, I've never played monster hunter, and I haven't been reading all his monster hunter-related posts.

My first question would be: how long did you experiment to figure this out.
My second: what would possess you to 'do' such an experiment?
Boredom, my dear friends! Idle hands are, afterall, the devil's workshop. You can also very faintly smell it on the DVDs, if you were wondering. Right after they come out the factory, the scent is strong, but it rapidly diminishes. Or maybe I'm just a dog using a computer, take your pick.
Just be glad she's not showing off her bird side, Sara. The only way that goes down in these monster girl comics, it means she starts laying eggs.
Tama already beat her to that, according to some of the "old" Karindou comics Raku posted to sate us when he was busy with something else. It still keeps me up at night.

if you're talking about this one , I'm pretty sure she was, uh, "laying" Kinka after swallowing her.
