Note to selfe: Yohane is not Zounose. Yohane write and draw nice, fluffy and heartfelt story that may sometime slip in on unseatling...but just slightly.
Zounose is more grimdark...kind of like cupcake.
lesson learn.
I would try my hand at trenslation again, but after the mess I did...no it was not a mess, it was a brave attempt.

No, this was dark, alright. Canon Flan is fairly cheery and semi-friendly. Canon Koishi doesn't go around lobotomizing people. It's not grimdark, but it's still dark and icky compared to the canon.

Lobomoty, lobotomy, lobotomy. You grimderp fanboyz are all using that word. I do not think you know what it means, so let me explain : A lobotomy is a neurosurgical procedure, in which the front part of the skull is opened and a small part of the prefrontal cortex is removed, wich results in "deficits in concentration, orientation, abstracting ability, judgment, and problem solving ability".
Now, I may be wrong, but Flandre's forehead seemed intact last time I saw it, and it doesn't seem like she lost any of her faculties, personality, or intelligence. As Koishi mentionned, she only "removed" Flandre's desire to destroy, and it is temporary. And I highly doubt brain grows back, even on vampire. How you people manage to turn a magical psychical manipulation into a daaAAAAaaark lobotomy is beyong me. If it were just hypnosis, I would get it, but no, it's a lobotomy because Gensokyo is a grimdark nightmarish place.
Transorbital lobotomies, which involve no penetration of the forehead, accounted for a massive number of the lobotomies performed at the height of the procedure's popularity, US physician Walter Freeman performing 3,000 alone.
It seems that it's getting lively outside? There's no time to care about that anymore-
