Argh, this is the kind of thing that put me off Kaguya doujins for so long. Her character can be such a perfect figure of Malice, that in my heart, I wanted her to keep playing that role indefinitely. ~-~-~-~ Can't wait for the next bit. °(ᴖ◡ᴖ)°
I both like and hate how Kaguya is depicted in this. On one hand, she isn't depicted as a moe/airhead/neet/other stuff like that, and instead as a mature, princessly woman, which is great! On the other hand, she's depicted as being needlessly cruel and manipulative, which I don't quite like... That and the fact that she still has the whole "haughty lunarian" thing going, unlike how she is depicted in works like CiLR.

I agree with everything you said! Though I guess I don't mind a bit of haughtiness from her.
