Sounds like it. He apparently was pretty pissed on their recent production candidate for the cybertruck demanding they redo it with "sub 10 micron accuracy" for the tolerances of all parts. Apparently a car designer commented elsewhere that's a ridiculous demand because it totally ignores thermal expansion during the production process and operations of the vehicle.

Toolmaker here, yep. Good luck getting 10 microns on those huge ass stainless plates. Even ignoring thermal expansion that'S both stupid and unnecessary. Besides, why the fuck should anyone bend over for that hideous flying brick he's building?
