I can understand intense danger when Rumia's ribbon is removed, but could anyone really clarify why it's a bad thing to remove the ribbon? I just want some concrete information and not "It's a bad thing".

There really isn't a better answer other than "it's a fandom thing". The fandom believes that Rumia becomes Ex-Rumia when the ribbon is removed.

Canonically, the "ribbon" is a talisman that Rumia can't touch. Many fans believe it also seals away much of her true power (and intelligence), such that removing it would make her considerably more dangerous.
