Seems like it'd be awfully messy and I'm just seeing tons of problems with making a toy like it. Potential eye injury from the projectiles, potential choking hazard from the projectiles, slipping hazard from the projectiles ending up on the floor, etc. I think most games that shoot anything typically put most of the shooting part within some sort of enclosure.

Sounds like the kind of toys I had from my era ... those were the best.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Why the hell become the toy industry a bunch of damn pussies?! Why did the law allow some jackasses to sue the fuck out of companies for no intelligent reason whatsoever?!
Well what do you expect? You can't take on a Tiger from the front in a Panzer IV... and I should know, I've tried.
(WoT noob alert!)
Bounce, bounce, bounce. BOOM!! ammo racked, "Bulls**t!"
Poor Miho though.
Sure you can.
Load APCR and then just punch a shell into the side sponsors which are directly behind the completely flat drivers plate and are FULL of ammo. One hit kill ammo explosion at least 90% of the time, well in War Thunder anyway ;). I see SO many Tigers explode from ammo detonation due to their terrible stowage arrangement. One really has to question the sanity of whoever decided to store most the German tanks ammo behind the weakest plates and pretty much exactly where (center of mass just below the turret) people where most likely to aim in a flanking engagement.
The front armor of the Tiger isn't actually that good either if you can get a square shot on it. There are quite a few mid to late war guns that can penetrate the front drivers plate at combat ranges. In point of fact a fair portion of the front turret armor of a Sherman was significantly thicker then a Tiger and and the hull is only marginally less armored (92~ vs. 100mm).

He was talking in terms of WoT
And to be fair, the Germans were on the defensive by that time, so they most of the time will face the enemy head on and they were focusing on firepower (hit the enemy before they hit us)

I was quoting the painful experiences of the first timer WoT players that usually go strait for the German heavy tank line. Usually right after they get the Pz.IV through the 38N.A. grind with less than 100 games played in total.
"Yay, I not the damn scout anymore, I can kill anything now! Ahahahah!!! Oh s**t a Tiger..." *Starts machine gunning with the stock 5 cm gun at the Tiger's angled front upper hull.

"That's it everybody get out!" "BULLS**T!!!" lol
I know how that feels lol
On War Thunder though... unlocking Tiger takes FOREVER. By the time you unlock it you are already a veteran.

I know the feeling, I really do. Nothing is more painful than trying to get EXP to go from a stock gun when it shares nothing with a previous tank, to something USABLE.
Had to Free-EXP past the Grant because of how terrible WoT is to it and the Lee.

Eh Tiger is the first Tier III vehicle for Germany, if you have premium account or a premium/talisman vehicle (gets bonus XP) that's maybe a weeks semi-hard grinding IMO. I'd say you could get it in 50 games depending on luck, admittedly I got it like 48 hours (Boosted Panzer IV F2 and Panther D+Prem Account+Sim Battle Clubbing+RP Gain being much higher when GF first came out = pretty much everything up to T4 unlocked within two weeks)
The Tiger in WT is sort of better and sort of worse then WoT it's better in that the lack of super prototype guns everywhere and IMO more favorable MM means that with a bit of distance it's armor is actually usable and will bounce a fair few shells. It's worse in that, as noted above, it's very vulranble to being exploded instantly due to poor ammo placement and the lack of HP in WT. The MM is also still no cake walk and it faces a line up more like what a Tiger in 1944 would be fighting then 1942. There is nothing fun about dealing with an IS-2 in a Tiger...
I don't know I like the Tiger in WoT. It's an underdog compared to the more popular t29 or IS-2. But it's still a hardy machine. 8.9 in particular or so i think was a great upgrade with it's ROF buff. Not sure how WoT is now though since i've quit playing due to WG's BS decisions as of late.

Agreed. I don't know why others downvoted your comment. Just because something is the way they are doesn't mean it is supposed to be that way.
